A bookshelf for a books collector. 

A bookshelf that follows the simple idea of stacking ‘walls’ and horizontal planks, but with the additional element of a round column, in green. The ‘walls’ are recessed to the back ground. When the shelf is going to be filled with books, the ‘walls’ then stand quietly among the books, while the round columns become more visible - conveying the impression of a ‘light’ construction in contrast with the ‘heavy’ strong colours of the shelf.
